“Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe...”
Once a young, Nord girl living in the streets of Whiterun now a proud shieldmaiden, and The Harbinger of The Companions.
Anora, like many children was left orphaned by war. The Great War claimed the lives of both her parents when Anora was very young, too young to even remember. The young Nord would be taken in by a distant relative, her great aunt.
Anora grew up to be a intelligent, respectable child in a loving home... and for a moment she was happy. It wasn’t until the young Nord was 12 years old that her great-aunt fell ill. Her old age only jeopardized her condition, and she soon passed; leaving Anora all alone in the world.
For a short while the young girl lived in the streets of Whiterun, but she was resourceful. She became a local courier, sending letters and small packages throughout the hold of Whiterun and in her free time she would train with Kodlak Whitemane; who had taken a liking to her.
While on a delivery to Riverwood, she encountered a Breton woman and her child, surrounded by a pair of bandits. Anora approached the group and began to attack the bandits, and for sure... the lessons with Kadlak had paid off. The young, 15 year old girl had defeated the two men, but not without receiving a fair share of cuts and bruises.
The Breton woman, Luciana Vassière and her husband Erik Vassière were so grateful and intrigued with the girl that they decided to adopt her and make her an addition to their family. Anora moved in with them into their manor just outside of Whiterun.
The Vassières of Whiterun lived a more than comfortable life, having made their wealth in trade with Cyrodiil. Anora grew very fond of her adoptive parents and her new siblings, often being the mediator to the younger and rambunctious Alyn and Sera. It was tiring work being the oldest, but the trio grew very close.
The years passed and Anora grew up to be a formidable shieldmaiden, a deadly warrioress and decided to join the companions. Eventually she proved her worth being a companion, and grew very close to her fellow guild members.
To her they were like a second family, especially Kodlak who had become a sort of father figure to her.
When Kodlak was killed, Anora was reminded of how bittersweet having loved ones was. The young woman and the rest of the companions avenged him and slaughtered the Silverhand. Shortly after, Anora was appointed Harbinger.
She is strong, skilled, and passionate... about the guild and guild members alike.
